Classic TV Disaster Movie

Definitely on par with the 1970's Earthquake, this TV puts others to shame with its real carnage effects and real actors actually acting and not pouting!
The film follows a seismologist and her family as she struggles to get the government on her side to evacuate Los Angeles before a huge Earthquake hits. Needless to say that its all too late and it hits anyway causing mass havoc. The scenes afterwards are very well done and the sets are fantastic as there's no CGI. Then its a case of sitting back and watching everyone struggle to survive as the aftershocks tear the streets apart.
Thoroughly excellent film and serves as quite a potent warning.
