Watch with friends (who are impossible to offend)
Review date: 2006-12-18 Rating: 10 out of 10

I went to see this in the cinema last night and haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Whilst a lot of the laughter was out of disbelief at the choices of targets for Silverman's comedy, plenty of it was at the actual material.
If you are someone who has ever been offended by an on-stage comic then this is probably not for you.
If the very notion of someone making jokes about rape, 9-11, or the holocaust is too sickening for you to handle then don't bother.
I'd recommend you take a trip to YouTube first, sample some of the clips there and then decide whether you can take the Sarah Silverman assault on the sensibilities.
From the show: "Remember, when God gives you Aids (and God *does* give you Aids by the way), make lemon-Aids."

Sarah Says...
Review date: 2006-10-24 Rating: 10 out of 10

I was drawn towards Sarah Silverman when a caught her in a David Letterman show performance. A trailblazer for the much needed politically incorrect, her caustic often offencive style of comedy is showcased brilliantly in the various songs, and live show excerpts that are woven into this excellent DVD.

It's a great buy.

For a very certain sense of humour only
Review date: 2006-10-03 Rating: 2 out of 10

Having seen Sarah Silverman on the Dawn French comediennes' programme and been attracted to her sense of humour, I bought this dvd and was expecting great things. Not so. I'm known to have a pretty warped sense of humour but could only describe myself as offended, completely unmoved (except to mild anger and a lot of irritation) by this 'show'. I felt Silverman picked on the most serious of topics (who can find rape of an old woman funny - no matter in what context it's placed??) As for her singing - it made my gums bleed.
I would therefore recommend that you save your money on this one - there are plenty of 'alternative' (yes, still) comedians/comediennes out there who are genuinely funny. Silverman is not one of them. A deep disappointment.
