Poor Plots, Sterotyped Characters and too much Swearing
Review date: 2007-06-20 Rating: 4 out of 10
Having enjoyed the first series (mostly) I looked forward to watching the second series. Sadly, although the first 3 episodes weren't too bad, from episode 4 onwards it was all downhill.
The characters became predictable and the quality control on the plots disappeared. Sadly I bought the 3rd series with the 2nd. I won't be buying the 4th.

NewTricksReview date: 2007-03-20 Rating: 10 out of 10This is the best series on television incorporating clever stories combined with an excellent cast. They each carry a certain amount of personal baggage which makes them more endearing and they also make mistakes which makes them real. Congratulaions to all for this great series and to the BBC for airing it. (...)New Tricks, new and freshReview date: 2007-02-24 Rating: 10 out of 10The series is a wonderfully different take on forensic, cold case storylines. The interaction between the four actors that make up the team, is hilarious and at the same time, full of great tensions and xhemistry. The individual stories are original and often quirky. I'm glad that so far the BBC has not pulled the series, which they tend to do with the better series they produce, but it would be nice if they released Series 3 asap. It has been a long time in coming and I'm sure I'm not the only person eagerly awaiting Series 3.Great series - poor packagingReview date: 2006-06-07 Rating: 8 out of 10The series continues in great form, and picture and sound quality are quite decent.
However, wins 1st prize in the packaging cheap-o-rama contest for this one: 3 discs stacked on top of each other in a single-disc keep case. This is not only highly impractical, but it also leads to scratched discs over time.
I sincerely hope this does not become the norm!WATCH OUT IT'S BACK!!!Review date: 2006-04-02 Rating: 10 out of 10Yes it is back with a "BANG", another cracking series of the good old {retired} boys in blue.
You can really sink your teeth into this series with such relish.
Perfect for those rainy Sunday afternoons in front of the box.
Can not wait for season three.
