Gordon the garden gnome is a superb children's series which both I and my 3 year old thoroughly enjoyed. Alan Titchmarsh is the perfect choice for Gordon's voice and he's actually a surprisingly good actor too. Very friendly and comforting. The show is packed with plenty of humour, especially from the two slugs Lez and Dez (like Pete and Dud but not rude!) and there's enough jokes to amuse kids and adults alike (check out the episode when Lez dresses up as a nurse!!). The stories are very strong and not predictable in the slightest and the use of magic really adds a sparkle to the whole show, making it much more fantastical and fun than boring old Bob the builder. Gordon is the new king of children's telly!
