My husband is a Poirot fanatic and this was a perfect gift for him. Very fast and effective service and the DVDs come as a set, completely brand new.
The quality of the DVDs are excellent and it keeps him out of my hair. You want to see Suchet at his best....then this is it apparantly. Even though i am not too much of a fan, even I'm starting to watch it.

This is the "TV Poirot" which acts as the yardstick by which others must be measured.

I've now bought two sets of this - one for us and one for some good friends.
The various productions within this large collection which use the cars, household and street settings of the era are fantastic.
The earlier series are my preferred ones - despite the latter ones often being broadcast on TV. The earlier ones get you into the personalities of Poirot, Inspector Japp, Capt Hastings and Miss Lemmon provide wonderful expressions of very conservative people relating to one another with great humour. They also reflect many of the pre-war issues that I understand existed in the country.
It took us 12months to see them all. We are now working through them again.
