Synopsis
The first series from television that follows the lives of the Trevanion family in the African Heartland. Danny Trevanion is a vet with an 18 year old daughter, Rosie, and they live with his new wife Sarah and her children Olivia and Eva. When Danny saves the life of an African monkey Sarah suggests they all go to Africa to re-home it. And there begins the start of a new life and adventure for the Trevanion family.

What a fantastic series. I love it. It is a nice family show with a difference, It is set in the wild country of Africa. There is a separate storyline to each episode with a continuation of the lives of the Trevellian family as well. Stephen Tompkinson and Amanda Holden are a great couple togehter in this show, long may it continue. Great storylines, fantastic scenes of a beautiful country and great family life.
Well Done ITV.
I really enjoyed Series 2 even better, hopefully it will be released on DVD soon. Come on ITV.
I have heard that an American network has brought the rights of the show and will be making their own version of it. I can't wait for that either, I hope it will be shown in the UK to.

Coming from South Africa I really loved this series. It made me so homesick. Can't wait for the second series. There were a couple of unrealistic scenes but unless you've been there you would never know - apart from that very true to life in the bush - so hats off to the Producers and cast. Well worth watching
