The original RoboCop was a masterful bloody adult film which commented on the nature of the human soul trapped in a machine, while warning us of the power of the corperations, all the while indulging in super violence in a futuristic setting of our world.
Then they made sequel after sequel lowering the age limit with each film.. till we get to the series.
Its about as far removed from the original film as you can get as its no more then the final cash in on the francise which has been flogged.
Its made for kids... with robo-cop villians that makes the original batman 70s camp villians look hard.Oh and it smacks of cheapness.
Surely it doesnt even deserve a star,
