As most know, we're now in the future gotham but we still have batman. This series is amazing in that it gives us a new batman for a new world and all that...
I'd thoroughly reccomend this series as a continuation of Batman TAS, we even see the return of some characters, or at least honourable mentions.

Pity it's only region 1, but that said, the series is great fun. Not as gothic as Batman, though it is engaging enough, though perhaps lacking the substance of the Batman animates series. The previous viewer is correct to compare BOTF to Marvel's Spiderman animated series, with Terry McGinness and Peter Parker bearing an uncanny resemblance to each other.

The series takes place roughly 40 years after the original Batman animated series in a future Gotham in need of a new hero.
At first I thought updating the series wouldn't work, but it does and surprisingly well!
Don't expect this series to be as dark as the original, if anything it's more reminiscent of Spiderman. But if you accept it for what it is you should enjoy this almost as much as the other series.
Again the UK is left out as the 4 volumes of BTAS still haven't been released here and I haven't got high hopes that this or the recent Justice League seasons will either.
My advice is if you like BTAS then you should consider this and the Justice League releases as they are both top notch!
