I have to agree with all the positive feedback on this movie. It's interesting with the humour added in with "Veku", but, when Gogeta arrives, the action REALLY starts. Awesome animation as always, Dragon Ball Z ROCKS!!!

The penultimate DBZ Movie - Worth watching for DBZ fans and non DBZ Fans alike.

One of the best DragonBall Z Films and many people's favourite. In fact, it was so popular, FUNimation used it as their premier film to be shown in cinemas across America under their FUNimation Films banner. It was shown alongside The Return Of Cooler, because that film had very good Audio/Video quality.
The plot of Fusion Reborn is simple. It exists as a short film version of the Majin Buu and Fusion Sagas. Hell (HFIL/ OtherWorld) is overrun with new arrivals. The Spirit Purifying Machine is wrecked by a careless worker, who is flooded in evil energy and becomes Janempa. This chubby yellow fellow rewrites the rules of the Afterlife and turns Hell in his party balloon playground. The dead start rising on Earth, throwing it into chaos, so much so that even after Goten and Trunks summon the Eternal Dragon Shenron, nothing can be done.
In the afterlife, Goku and Pikkon, Otherworld's greatest heroes are sent to investigate. Pikkon gets to play hero by attempting to break Janempa's barriers and rescue King Yemma. Hercule, Videl and Gohan, as Great Saiyaman protect the public from Zombies and ressurected warriors such as Frieza. Meanwhile Goku fights Janempa, and after seeing Janempa's flashy techniques transforms into Super Saiyan 3. Not being able to contend with the Pinnacle of Saiyan Power, Janempa transforms into Janemba, a powerful red demon. The fight is on...
In the Afterlife and on Earth, there are two surprise appearances. On Earth, an instantly recognisable figure appears and he and his army engage in a goofy battle with Goten and Trunks. In Hell, Vegeta arrives, saving the life of Goku, who is knocked out of Super Saiyan 3. The only way out of this mess, on Earth and in Hell, is to fuse. There's a surprise twist with Goku and Vegeta's fusion, which, along the the battle between Gotenks and the "guest star" will leave you in stitches.
This is a very enjoyable film. The animation quality is superb and FUNimations voice actors are on tip-top form. The Japanese version is also really, really good, with excellent subtitles. Buy it! But make sure your DVD player can handle it.

For me this movie by far is the best one. I was kinda confuse as in what saga this movie came after. But all i know it's somewhere after the majin buu saga and before the super buu saga.The movie Introduces a new evil villain called Jenempa.
Jenempa is a creation of thousands of evil souls of waste which Mutated into one being. The waste of evil souls were kept in a large tank after thousands of years of waste the tank couldn't hold any more souls. Then broke free and processed one of king Yama's worker's. Which transformed him into a 50'foot monster. At that time Goku is fighting in the Grand kia's world martial arts Tournament against Pikkon. Goku and Pikkon hears about this new development and rushes to the 'check in station' and see's the most strangest thing on top of king Yama's roof.
Now this movie is worth getting. by far this is the best one so you have to get it. And be sure to get movie 13 warth of the dragon.
