i think its great my kids lve it .i'm sorry the previous review er didn't like it . Most of the special dvd 's (not the series ones) only have 6 or 8 episodes . We have nearly all of the dvds you can get with thomas and friends and we love them .

ones which have a lot of episodes can go on for up to two hours! I actually look for DVDs which have only five or six episodes. He won't have anything to do with interactive games - they are not important to every child. I think the DVD seems to have a good mix of old and new characters. I'm not keen on the songs which appear on the newer Thomas DVDs, but the kids seem to like them. Also, it appears to me that the newer DVDs seem to use more computer graphics than the old episodes which appeared to be made entirely with models - to me this is part of their charm - but the kids seem quite oblivious to such things!

Just received the DVD of Tales from the tracks. No wonder there were so few details about it - no-one would buy it if they knew what you actually get for your money! A mere six episodes (you get loads on the videos!) and the interactive game is a joke! It consists of one four piece puzzle! Not much to enthrall even the youngest Thomas fan! Feel ripped off, and will not buy any more Thomas DVDS.
