I feel like I wasted my money here. Half the songs were just one verse and although the animations were fairly colourful and I suppose kid friendly, it really was a disappointment.
My 2-year old got up an walked off after a few minutes and then started playing with the boxes. I doubt I will press play again, it's more than likely going to end up in the charity shop.
I bought another title in this series too... described as "sing-a-long"... same fate for that one, alot of the stuff on that disc is the same.
I would definately not recommend that you buy more than one from these series.... too much overlap

Difficult to get into!

This DVD is dated. The graphics are poor, and I thought the cartoons would shoe more of the actions to the songs. They don't! On occassions a small box pops up in the corner of the screen with a child showing some of the actions, but my 20 month old daughter found it hard to concentrate on and get to grips with. This DVD has only been on once in our house, and she hasn't showed much interest since.
Basic but Worth it

As many have already mentioned, the images are simple but bright and attention grabbing. I especially like the simple use of footprints and handprints for trees and clouds.
My twins have watched this for 6 months now since they were 18 months old and they don't tire of it. In fact as they get older they are able to move more, copy the hand actions which are shown in a small window on the screen, and they're also starting to sing along.
My only complaint is that some of the songs are too short and some of the pictures could be better, but as another person said, the kids don't mind this at all.
It's good basic entertainment, for the little ones to see by themselves or with Mum and Dad for additional fun.
Annoying

By far it is the most annoying DVDs we managed to buy. Animation is plainly dull and boring - the same ideas repeated all over the place. The music is all done the same way and we even found some of voices annoying. Finally - the idea of a DVD with rhymes is to let toddlers sing and dance along. This DVD really kills this option with extreme speed of changing songs and sometimes bizarre melodies.
Yes, our daughter liked this DVD. All three times she watched it. But we could not stand it anymore. It is even worse than Teletubbies!
For some educational video, I really recommend Baby Einstein series.

Scary animation, I found it frustrating that the rhymes were not sang in full - usually just the first few lines. Despite this my 2 year old does like to sing along while jumping on the sofa so quite useful for 30 minutes entertainment!
