DVD Description
The clock-stopping, heart-pounding adventures continue in the third extraordinary season of the Emmy Award-winning Quantum Leap. In these 22 thrilling episodes, Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) leaps from one exciting identity and time to another, still chasing his dream to return to his present, and desperately hoping that time is on his side. Sam's a Navy Seal, a beauty pageant contestant, a bounty hunter, and a rock star (who really sings!). He even voyages to his 16-year-old self, exploring his family's history and striving to change their tragic past. Returning to guide the action-packed journeys is smart-mouthed Al (Dean Stockwell), a holograph that only Sam can see and hear.

Synopsis
Scott Bakula ('Star Trek - Enterprise') stars as brilliant scientist Sam Beckett, who in experimenting with time travel, loses himself in a perpetual warp that catapults him into the bodies and lives of random people throughout time. While he temporarily inhabits a person's body, Sam also must solve a problem or mystery in that person's life (the solving of which triggers another jump). Continually trying to find a way to his home time, Sam has the help of Rear Admiral Albert 'Al' Calavicci, who appears in hologram form, and the supercomputer Ziggy, which provides clues for solving each episode's mystery. This collection contains all of the episodes in the third series.
Season 3

Well , my all time favourite show comes in a great pacakage on region 2.
A must for any fan of the show , but if you were a hardcore fan season 3 , & 2 for that matter will dissapoint with mixed up leaps and edits to some of the music , most notibaly RUNAWAY.
not bad and makes the cut apart from that.
BTW the bitrate is excellent on these dvds
After watching this its left me with a great desire for season 4 to come out ASAP so as to learn more about the Quantum Leap universe. Unfortunately I have a feeling we will be waiting for a long time for it yet!
As already mentioned here, there are few more instances of "incorrect" leap out-in at the end of just a few of these 22 episodes. I have been told that this occurs where there was no footage of the next episode, and so a selection of stock sequences were used to fill the gap. It’s a shame that Universal couldn’t throw some together or just use the intro from the next episode in its complete form. However, this would have had repercussions amongst fans looking for authenticity. It's true that you can't please everyone!
A great DVD boxset – and a much more user friendly method of DVD storage!
Shame about the lack of extras. Anyone know when Season 4 is being released in UK?
