I must say that I didn't think season 2 was so good but this season is so much better. The jokes are clever, funnier and the storylines is much better written. I wish that I could get season 4 and 5 but I have not seen any region 2 dvds so I have to wait and see. I also like the colour of the box but there is no extras just like the other season dvds. I would be so fun with some interviews and bloopers. But maybe there will be in the future dvds, who knows?
My favourite character has always been Rose and I have never liked Blanche so much because she is so selfish and vain. The other characters are pretty funny too but not like Rose. I also love that the problems are real and realistic and things happens in the show just like it would in real life. Golden Girls is funny, well-written and an amazing show that I will watch again and again. I really hope the other seasons will be released soon.

The girls just keep getting better...

Season Three of the Golden Girls is just superb. I can't recommend this dvd set any higher than I recommended Season 1...the girls just keep getting better and better. "Golden Moments" was a delight, reliving those earlier moments and I shall never forget Rose on the dance floor, pushing her two best friends aside so that she can deliver her cartwheel and splits performance. An absolute gem! When are we going to get Season 4 and Season 5 on Region 2...I'm getting withdrawal symptons and I'm sure I'm not the only one!!! Keep 'em coming, girls...

This is ought to be my all time favourite tv comedy series!
When is the next series going to be released in the UK? Because in USA they are 2 series ahead of us already!

I guess if you typed this into the search then you already know this camp classic series. Totally brilliant and hasn't aged as much as the girls! Do rent it if you haven't seen it before, buy it if you have!

This is what REAL comedy is! NOT Politically Correct, Racy and full of outstanding actresses. Bea Arthur is THE funniest thing consistently through the 7 Seasons. You can't beat this show. Season 3 is funnier than 1 + 2 together. Golden Girls = Golden Moments! Aaah!
