Filmation's Ghostbusters was often bashed because the series was made to cash-in on the Ghostbusters film success, but I personally think the series is extremely fun and enjoyable, and it deserves better reputation by fans of animation.
For anyone who's a fan of this series (or other Filmation series like He-Man, Flash Gordon, ...) or 80's animation in general, this is a "must buy" release. The transfer is simply incredible, with virtually no print damage and strong colours, it looks great. I doubt the series will ever look better than it does here.
No extras, but the wonderful visual quality of this dvd makes me give it a big thumbs up. 5 stars
