Oh Boy!! What a great show...
Review date: 2006-05-26 Rating: 8 out of 10
I remember watching this on its original showing and it is still as fresh today as it was back then. A great concept to begin with, the 2 lead characters interact brilliantly and Scott Bakula is never less than likeable in his portrayal of Sam Beckett. What comes over strongly is that the actors seem to be enjoying themselves and have fun with the characters they portray. Some of the best ever episodes are in this season and although each story is complete in itself, we are given insights into both the characters' backgrounds and the Quantum Leap project itself. Light entertainment that can be watched by the whole family - always enjoyable and sometimes thought-provoking. Only quibble is the lack of a booklet or information about the episodes other than just the titles...but otherwise a set worth having. and i love the shiny box it comes in!!!

Excellent Stuff - But some goofsReview date: 2005-11-17 Rating: 8 out of 10More great quantum leap episodes. However, I'm over halfway through watching the DVDs, and there are at least 2 leap-in mistakes. Infact, on two of these episodes ("The Americanization of Machiko" and "All Americans") the cliffhanger is Sam leaping into the first season episode "Color of Truth". I would have given it five stars, but this is really bugging me as it messes up the continuity of the story. I really hope that there are no more instances of Sam leaping into this guy again...Quantum Leap RocksReview date: 2005-11-03 Rating: 10 out of 10Excellent ! At last !!
