TWO COPS VS A DEMON FROM HELL
Review date: 2006-03-20 Rating: 10 out of 10

This play out like or same old cops films you see before, but with a twist. The bad guy is not the same as you see in other cops film. The bad guy is a high rank demon from hell with help from other low ranking demons from hell. The high ranking demon and the low ranking demons is trying to bring fore hell on earth by killing a person with royal blood and the good guy is trying to stop the high ranking demon and the low ranking demon from bring fore hell on earth.

If you like cops film and horror films, this film is mostly a cop film with a little bit of horror mix in if you like that sort of thing. If you do, this film is a ok run ride.

This film has got no swearing and no sex and no nudity and no gore which I am very please to say.

From a chirstian point a view you can teach a non chirstian about demons from hell and tell them this film is base on fact and fiction, but you must tell the non christian the real facts on demons first before you and your non christian see this film. This film will help you as a chirstian to teach the non chirstians about demons and they evil power and bring them closer to Jesus our lord.

For the glory of God.

Are they allowed to make films this bad?

I punched the wall more than Chuck Norris punched anything in this film after i realised i'd wasted my money on what is very possibly the worst film i've ever seen. There is very little action (and when there is any, they may as well have took it straight out a disney movie), there is little horror and no comedy. it is nothing like the action packed epic that it says it is on the front cover.

It doesn't deserve the one star it got.

Please, even if you are the biggest Chuck Norris fan in the world DON'T BUY IT! I like his earlier films such as Good Guys wear black so watch one of them. But this is unwatchable.

I regret ever turning my computer on the day i bought it, do you want to.

AVOID AT ALL COST!

Hellraiser can hold down a place in a horror hall of fame for the way it scares the viewer, but this is done with the story line. Hellraiser II attempts to frighten you with blood, guts and gore. To me it isnt scary. Using a story to scare people ages well, this looks like yet another cheap 80's movie.

One of the best films ever made!

This film is probably the best film ever made, I particularly like the scenes of Julia Furie Zacharias' transcendental command of the house. Un-fortunately this film does contain some disturbing moments too, In-vivo open brain surgery, blatantly pro-human vivsection doctors hiding behind psychology. We see the real glyptic evil of the box as it's symbols embody the genoese like leviathan, the doctor finally get subjected to symbiosis, the root of consciousness, an alien human condition. This is just a really brilliant film!

Hellraiser II may not be a particularly scary movie, but it sure is disgusting, spewing flesh and blood liberally around the scenery. Limbs are torn off, skulls are opened, skin is flayed, etc, etc... The problem is, this movie has not aged very well. The special effects are what you can expect from a late-eighties budget movie, i.e. unconvincing stop-motion animation, plastic-looking texture on most of the monster models and cartoon lightning effects.
As in the first movie, it's all about a mysterious puzzle box which, when solved, will open a portal to Hell (or one hell, anyway) and summon the humanoid creatures that dwell there. The story beyond this is fairly uninspired and the characters often behave inexplicably or inconsistently.
As I have already pointed out, this movie simply isn't frightening, the basic concept is too far out in the first place and the poor execution further erodes any fear one might have had of the hell dimension and its occupants. However, it's not all bad. The movie is certainly bloody and fairly revolting so a certain stomach-turning thrill can be found here for those who crave that sort of thing. Just don't expect Pinhead to haunt your sleep the way the Blair witch did...
