This almost-forgotten sitcom really isn't up to the standard of Ronnie Barker's other shows. If you didn't see the show when it was originally broadcast then you're not missing anything. It's not in the same league as Porridge or Open All Hours. Just watching one episode makes it easy to see why they only made one series...

Porridge Superb,Arkwright Brilliant,Evans ,what can I say this really suprised me,exceptionally funny if you can get past a Welshman being funny,this should have been continued the writing sublime and Ronnie,well lets face it he was our Greatest comedy actor who became the person he portrayed,have no doubts this is well worth the money just buy it to find out
