I bought this as I am a Civil War buff...which means Ill buy anything in the belief its not tosh. I was pleasantly surprised by this film. its obstensibly about a colt "joining" up with Federal cavalry regiment but not quite as you think. The tale really revolves around the cavalry and their Confederate protagonists. Though no famous actors, the chaps play their parts well.
This is an interesting tale, not marred by weepy women love interests, just a good bloke film, with good action and an interesting ending. Enjoy.
