The basic story..Luca (Luc Merenda) is the young card shark forced to work for a top underworld crime figure known as the President. When Luca comes into conflict with the Presidents hot headed and jealous son only violence can be the outcome..
Directed by Sergio Martino who has been successful in several different genres creating many artistic and enjoyable films."Gambling City" though not one of his best is still stylishly directed and contains some good violent action. However, there are slower moments when little is happening that do to be honest drag on a bit. It also contains some humour and light hearted touches that i suppose work well enough. The story isn't the most original but in all this is quite a good film and the card scenes at the poker table look really cool.
This release from No Shame is region 0 and the picture is great. Extras include interviews, commentary by Luc Merenda and a nice booklet.
