You sit down to watch one episode and before you know it you're half way through the series. I haven't seen any of the episodes since I watched them first time round on TV and had forgotten how brilliant, witty and insightful they are. A brilliant TV series which never seems to age. Go on buy the whole series - you won't regret it!

Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte ; 4 feisty single women who intended to make the most out of New York. Was it brilliant. This first series definitely was. fresh, daring and well acted. It was billed as an Adult version of Freinds, and yes, it did manage to match with the best of the best.
I Love the episode where Samantha seduces a young Irish doorman... So sexy.

This was the first time that the girls, Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte graced our screens as the straight talking, sex talking career girls of New York that we all wanted to emulate in one way or another. It's great to look back and so how the series changed and developed as the seasons wore on. And it's still great to watch. If you are going to collect the box sets... then this is a good place to start!
