Quite good drama with an outstanding ASHLEY LAURENCE (which is the reason why I bought it in the first place). The story is about a mother who moves to her rural hometown with her two boys and meets a guy with whom she falls in love with. The man (great acting by Kevin Gage) is an alcoholic whose outbursts of violence send him away to jail quite often. Her oldest son is interested in film makeup effects and wishes to pursue his deam of becoming a makeup artist. This evokes the attention of a local church fanatic and causes him a visit in jail as well. Brilliant portrayal of intolerance and religious fanatism (no it doesn't feature islamic terrorists *SURPRISE*).
