this has to be the ultimate cartoon series. although taking nothing away from things such as he man or mask ect. anyone around in the 80s or early nineties will agree that childrens programmes were so much better. thundercats is genius and should be watched by new and old fans alike. the themes and animation are still impressive today and the cast list alone makes it one of the most thought out and best cartoons to date. although would be great to see bravestaar on dvd too

You must buy this without any doubts. It was my most favourate cartoon of all time (aswell Teenage mutant hero turtles). I have shown all my friends (my girlfriend laughed) my special buy and they are all as excited as I was. Sad as it may sound, buy it and u will truly see how blessed we were to have grown up in the 80's watching THUNDERCATS and now it's here for all to own and see for your self.

Finally, after years of waiting, we have the first two seasons of Turtles, all of the Batman animated tales, all the Transformers, and finally they've released Thundercats. Any child who was born and bred in the 80's will be aware of how good we used to have it. Any kid born since will be completely unaware and therefore should buy this and learn a thing or two about what real childrens programming is like. This is when cartoons were done right. When there was imagination, characters and themes. Plus they looked damn cool and weren't drawn at home on some guys PC. Anyway I'm rambling, so stop reading this and just buy it. Hopefully it will pave the way for Captain N, Galaxy High and a proper release of the Real Ghostbusters.

Thundercats was my FAVOURITE program when I was a kid, born in '84 watching Thundercats throughout the late '80s was great, it was another world, Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles was great too but nothing like Thundercats, I'm buying this boxset when I go to New York in October, everyone who has watched Thundercats will have loved it and anyone who hasn't seen it...you're in for a real suprise!!!
