This exceptionally well produced documentary boxset really affected me and I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in the Vietnam conflict. Seeing the incredible and horrifying archive footage combined with the blow by blow accounts from veterans really moved and reminded me of the horror of this conflict. This is a really well put together 3 disk package that includes a booklet containing some incredible photographs taken by the recently deceased Catherine Leroy who became well known for her stark pictures from the conflict. The picture and sound quality are more than adequate and I will definitely re-watch this collection soon. A must have.

Bit of a let down.

Considering the amount of film that was taken during this period,must have been 1000's of hours,the film content of this production is very disappointing.Having grown up during this conflict it was very much a part of everyday news on the TV and I bought it for that reason.It covers all the main periods of the war,with in-depth interwiews with some of the combatants,but this is not backed up by footage of the events to any great extent.I think maybe the producer must have had a problem with copyright on this production,also parts of the first DVD are repeated in the second.If you are looking for an action packed, history DVD,of this war,then this is not it.To sum it up,this is a poor production lacking in any raw gritty action,give it a miss.
