Received this only a few days ago and already its my son's favourite DVD. Its long running time really helps too...
It is all about the day in the life of a fire station, an airport and recycling plant.
Very well done, great for 5 year olds and excellent value for money.
He even prefers it to Bob builder new on site dvd which cost much more!!

Absolutely fabulous

My 4 year old son loves this DVD - I paid about £3.99 for it at our local Tescos nearly 2 years ago and it's still a firm favourite. There are obviously some differences between the American and British services but the premise is much the same for each "big machine" covered. The Big Fire Engine with Mike the Fireman shwing the work Fireman do along with several safety messages. The flying of the aeroplane and all the people involved in keeping the airport running. Highlight for my son is watching Herb the Pilot take off. The finally the fabulous recycling one with the equally fabulous George who my son never gets tired of watching.

Another sure fire winner from the same people who brought us Diggers & Dumpers, this American DVD features everything you need to know about fire fighting, aeroplanes and rubbish. It's got a long running time, so it's excellent value for money as well as making it the perfect choice to put on if you need to have some time to get on with cooking supper or....! There's enough action and visual features for even a very young child to enjoy, but it's also packed with interesting facts for older children. Our friend George (from Diggers & Dumpers )also makes an appearance. Highly recommended.....my son asks to watch it at least once a week!
Great entertainment and educational

I loved this and my 3 year old son loves it too. It's entertaining, interesting and informative - not to mention funny.
Three scenarios cover what happens in the life of a fireman - including down-time at the fire station, wiating for things to happen, a family taking a flight and everything that's involved at the airport and with the airline in making that happen and finally what happens to recycled items from the moment they're collected from your doorstep, through the sorting and separating process till they're sent off to different facilities to be made into new things. Great for small boys who love big machines - and informative for parents too. I learned lots of things I never knew.
Really, really excellent. I would highly recommend it.
