When i was a young child in the 80's at one stage it was all about the garbage pail kids, the film was gross and funny all in one it made you laugh and made you want to go eeeeewwwwww and then there where the trading cards they where so cool (wish i still had mine lost forever in childhood) but i can not re-live the grossness because it is only region 1 format and that sucks. UK kids should have the opotunity to experiense cheesy 80's american films.

I didn't want to watch this! In the end i watched it 3 times and bought the video, as soon as it was available on dvd i bought that too! A very moving, extremely funny tale, following the adventures of doc croc, windy winston, valerie vomit and more, in search of their friends, while helping a bullied boy! watch out for the tension breaker!
Achingly Beautiful

I really can't recommend this film enough to those of you who enjoy beautifully written, meticulously acted and stunningly visual films. The animatronics took my breath away as did the rewarding and at times challenging script. Valerie Vomit's own sub-plot is heart wrenching to say the least, as she struggles with her nauseous disposition only to overcome her weakness in the penultimate scene which was a real bittersweet moment of elation and regret. We follow these characters as they progress from prisoners to free citizens and I think this is the most satisfying of heroic transformations I have ever witnessed on film. Buy this movie.
