Great film even by todays standards
Review date: 2007-08-07 Rating: 10 out of 10
I was still a little kid when I watched this film about 10-11 years ago (I am 21 now). My sister-in-law had rented this film out for me and I remember thinking that it would be utter crap- but was pleasantly surprised to find that wasn't the case. I watched this film a further three times in the week that we had it. I forgot about it for a long time until a friend and I got into a discussion about great teen movies, it was at this moment that "Teen Witch" popped back into mind. I realised that I had to watch it again. I was a little worried that it would not be as good as when I had watched it as a child but I am happy to report that the magic of "Teen Witch" is alive as ever.
Okay so here is the basic outline: A teenage girl who is not all that popular suddenly discovers that she is a witch with cool powers and uses said powers to make her life and that of her loved ones better and occassionally to get even with a few mean classmates and one teacher. Of course it wouldn't be a teen movie without a love interest and this part is played to perfection by Dan Gauthier who plays Brad (swoon) in the film.
Okay so thats my review of this film. Girls (I know guys wont be interested) rent this movie to watch, you will not be dissappointed. It may not be up to scratch with the films of today but it is still fun and uplifting to watch.

Magic makes a girls dreams come trueReview date: 2006-09-23 Rating: 10 out of 10This has got to be my absolute favorite film of all time. its one of those films that you wish was actually possible. The movie is centred around a young girl who is crazy about a guy in her school- brad, she and her friend polly are outcasts, but they always have fun anyway.she learns that on her 16 birthday she will recieve her magical powers as she is in fact a witch. she then uses her powers to make all her dreams come true including those of the people around her. This is the most watched film in my entire dvd collection. you wont regret watching it. Teen Witch an all time classic!Review date: 2006-01-23 Rating: 10 out of 10This movie is an all time 80's classic! As a teenager this is the video we rented over and over and over again, Until the video shop burnt down! I think i actually know it word to word! The movie is packed with some classic dance routines a real funky rap scene, and i mean funky! There is a love story and much much more. This truly is a classic light hearted all time fun movie and after years of searching i now own on VHS yeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!Cheesey but greatReview date: 2005-11-04 Rating: 10 out of 10This was a film I used to repeatedly rent on video when I was younger so I was really excited to see it was available on dvd.Its a must to rewatch. It is incredibly cheesey, I'd forgotton about the title sequence which is so 80's showing teen witch strutting about on the roof top. The movie is worth watching just for cheer leader dance to "I like boys" and the cringeworthy but great rapping sequence.
The film might not have a great plot line but I loved it so much when I was younger and will rewatch and laugh at it again and again.
If you remember it even slightly buy it. Its just a shame its not available on region 2
Teen Witch - Every girls dreamReview date: 2003-03-15 Rating: 8 out of 10This film is based on a girl who, on her sixteenth birthday, dicovers she is a witch. She soon starts to use her powers to get the guy she wants and also transforms herself into the most popular girl at school. A great film with good humour and a good soundtrack, it's every teenage girls idea of a good film.
