Liverpool - Champions Of Europe 2005
The highlights are obvious - and mainly come from the European nights. From the Chelsea game at Anfield where the atmosphere made the game seem even more titanic than it actually was, to the Liverpool comeback in Instanbul - inspired by Gerrard's imploring of the team for more in the second half, to the Super Carragher playing through the cramp in extra time and then completed by Dudek's penalty saves - sure hes a dodgy keeper but he can save a penalty from the best striker in the world....! I am little bit dissapointed by the overall content of the dvd. Previous dvd's have had a section where you can see the goals from selected players, and the Champions League final highlights are a little bit brief. I guess saving all the match for another dvd makes it that way. In conclusion any Liverpool fan who wants to remember the season should put this in their dvd libary. Sure its not going to win any awards, but seasons like that don't come along very often - as years of suffering at the hands of Man U supporters alone makes it worth saviouring again and again and again....!

The 2004-05 season review has a number of good points - firstly every match and every goal is included, and there are also comments from many of the first team (not including at the time a Chelsea bound Steven Gerrard!).

Brilliant, but.........................

As a Liverpool fan since 1973, i was very pleased to receive this dvd on Father's day from my children.
Great season review, but only very brief highlights of 'the match' which i found frustrating, after all it was the highlight of the season.
But frustratingly, i tried to mark the place i was at, and my panasonic dvd player would not allow me to do this!
So beware that you will have to watch the whole season review in one hit.
Out of this world match though, i cannot remember EVER being so overwhelmed at a game of football, but then it isn't just a game is it?

This is one of the best and a must for any fans interested in football - especially at the end where it shows the incredible victory of Liverpool's Champions League game. Don't even think about it, put your money down and it's a keeper for many years.

The greatest sporting comeback of all time along with all the other season goals can be viewed on this amazing DVD. All goals, highlights and action from a memorable season packed into over 2 hours viewing. A must for all LFC fans. Incredible.

It's exactly because of the likes of Max's opinion below that this DVD is so enjoyable. Liverpool were a memory, their glory years could be flicked over at the turn of a page. 4 European Cups, so long ago as to be meaningless. The glorious cup treble merely an annoying blip. But now Max has wall to wall, 24hr Liverpool adoration to contend with. 5 times, keep the trophy. Big Ears is back home to stay. All the more annoying because the Reds were average at best, but their spirit is undeniable. Marvellous!!
