second time of writing this review, first one didnt get published by amazon, I wonder why??!!??
This program is absolutely not a good purchase if you are after:
metric measurements, accurate landscape measurements, building raised beds, incorporating landscape features outside of the draw area. You can change settings to metric but the program will automatically default to imperial measurements in a metric form - as such you cannot obtain exact metric sizes and if actually working from a plan made from the program you would have to guestimate where things should be. Tried to incorporate railway line that is 5 metresabove ground level of main area to design to give idea of landscape around design and this throws the boundry walls 30 metres into the air - just floating there! I'd love to be able to explain that to the customer. general tool are basic to say the least, renders well but does not do what you need it too. I have a picture in my head as to what this landscaped area should look like but try and put this into this program and it cannot cope with simple terrain features. honestly you have better terrain fetures on sim city than this. very poor effort from the program makers. + even though it displays dwarf walls and the like on the box - if you try and reproduce these in this program it does not work. you are then informed on the help section that you need to buy the delux version to do this - surely false advertising. the tutorials are not in depth enough. overall very disappointed!!!!

jesus, have had a go at this program tonight after being invited to design an eating area outside very profitable resturant in town. this program is a ball ache, it is written for the american audience and so does not cope with metric very well, gets confussed I think and so if you are trying to get exact metric measurements on the plan forget it. ok I suppose for someone who wants to ROUGHLY experiment with ideas, no good for exact plans, the terrain tools are too self assuming and tutorials on disk and booklet are brief to say the least. overall quick to render, poor on accuracy.

Plenty of functions but unless you are a geek with hours to spare you will find learning to use this program extremely frustrating. The tutorial CD and online Help are disappointing. The User Guide is a little better but even simple things like undoing a mistake is not explained.
