I believe this film is very under rated and doesnt receive the credit it deserves.Made by John Hughes has contains an excellent cast including James belushi as John Candys cop partner. Its a film about chicago cop danny (john candy) and his jealous mother (maureen o'hara), Danny wants to find someone to spend his life with has he fears he starting to fade away from the dating game and so hes running out of time. However soon falls for Theresa (Ally Sheedy) coinsidently, however the mother realises that despite her efforts to make Theresa leave Danny, it isnt what she expects has danny and theresa like each other to much.The mother does this in order to have company in her own hosue and doesnt want danny to leave her all alone. Its a romantic film with a gud few comedy bits,and some sad bits,however its one for the funny to watch over and over again.
