Great early concert but poor picture throughout
Review date: 2006-02-09 Rating: 6 out of 10
One of the first things you are aware of when watching this early Black Sabbath concert is the poor picture quality, the first half looks as if it has been sourced from a home VHS recording with aerial ghosting evident by two vertical bands on the left side of the screen but after this first half the ghosting disappears and quality improves slightly, on the other hand sound is fairly good and definately better than the other Sabbath DVD release 'Never Say Die'. I believe this was actually recorded in Paris, France in 1970 and is a worthy purchase if you're a die hard fan who wants to see a hungry band early in their career with Ozzy at the helm
