I like this style of comedy - very witty and amusing. The story follows three guys who take the trip of a lifetime, and get into all sorts of trouble. There are some hilarious scenes. Oh, and it stars Seth Green. He was in Buffy. (Oz)

hilarious! a must see!Review date: 2007-09-02 Rating: 10 out of 10
this film is absolutely hilarious, i thoroughly enjoyed it. there were plenty of laughs throughout, which doesn't happen often for me now-a-days. my stomach was actually hurting from laughing so much. this is the kind of film that would and has now become a firm favourite of mine. one to watch on a regular basis, without ever tiring of it. if you enjoyed 'the goonies' and 'open season', then this would definitely appeal to you. the three guys are fantastically cast and were a pleasure to watch and one especially for the women/girls ;)
this film kind of reminds me of a grown up version of 'the goonies'. it's that kind of adventure you always wanted to take as a kid, but never got around to do it. it has certainly inspired me now to try and recapture my youth and try and introduce adventure into my life again. i am even considering taking my own camping trip now. life should be fun, i think as an adult you forget that sometimes.
i would recommend this film to anyone who likes a great comedy, those under 35 and women who enjoy watching gorgeous guys. they go topless at one stage, yippee! dax shepard is especially beautiful and seth green is very cute. i had a wonderful nights sleep that night. nudge nudge, wink wink ;)
this is the next film i will buy from amazon, i would definitely recommend it! although it's an underated film, i would say go and watch it, make your own mind up. i think you'll be very pleasantly surprised.
5* definitely. a real gem and a must see. :)Very funny and good natured comedyReview date: 2007-03-07 Rating: 8 out of 10Former Evil jnr Seth Green stars in this one as a nerdy, nervous doctor who goes on a camping trip with his two childhood buddies, Matthew Lillard and Dax Shepard. They're off looking for the lost loot of D.B. Cooper, who is some guy who jumped out of a plane (you'll probably know who he is if you're American or you've seen Prison Break). They take a canoe up the river to begin their adventure, and since this is a comedy they soon find themselves lost and squabbling and chased by bears and whatnot.
I kind of expected to hate Without A Padddle, but I ended up liking it quite a bit, mostly because of the great chemistry between the three leads. Green is excellent as usual, playing here a guy who's afraid of everything (also, he likes Dr Dre just because he's a fellow medical professional); Lillard puts his tongue-wagging, wacky jerk act to one side and emerges as a very likable comedic actor; and Shepard, who most will know from Punk'd, turns out to be pretty good as the obnoxious one. The three of them seem like genuine friends, and they all have their funny moments during the film.
There's plenty of good humour throughout, including Green's encounter with a bear, some hot hippy chicks in a mini-Ewok village, a hilarious chase through a burning field, nice turns from Abraham Benrubi and Ethan Suplee, plus a pretty good cameo from Burt Reynolds. Without A Paddle mostly stays away from the cheap gross-out stuff that is common in comedies these days, so what you get is a suprisingly good natured film that, while it may get a little sappy in places, is a very entertaining and funny ninety minutes. A kind of Goonies for adults, if you like. Recommended. Hilarious! A fantastic Film!Review date: 2006-07-10 Rating: 10 out of 10When Billy dies, a close friend of Tom, Jerry and Dan, the three are left shocked and upset. But when they visit their old treehouse and realise that Billy has left them the map to find DB Cooper's treasure, the three decide to take the journey that Billy always wanted them to take, not realising that they will embark upon the trip of a life-time. In the wilderness, they undergo many challenges, which are hilarious. Two hunters searching to kill them, two all-natural woman, vicous creatures and most importantly, they realise that friendship is what matters most. A hilarious, adventure comedy starring Seth Green, Matthew Lillard, Dax Green and many others. A great film, it should be watched by all!tired of hearing good good good???Review date: 2005-06-01 Rating: 2 out of 10Tell you why i'm here. Im here only to make a statement about bad films/games so there must be a reason im writing a comment under this film. Hey I admit it was good on the advertisements, I actually encouraged myself to watch it. Looked so funny. However, this is where the 1 star came from. For a humour film... it wasnt that funny. Maybe if your sense of humour makes you laugh upon seeing a granny cross the road, but to be honest with you, all the best parts of the films are in the adverts. You see the adverts and you've seen the only parts of the film worth watching. The rest of it is a pile of mumbo jumbo. I dont see how anyone could give this film a rating of more than 2. Just ridiculous. Well thats my opinion. Sorry if you feel differently from my point of view, i'm here only to give you advice.
