The dvd is split into two main sections. The first part is a live session performed in 1966 for Finnish television in front of a small studio audience. This lasts for around 35 minutes and featured tracks are; 1) When I Come Home There is also an interview with the group halfway through the performance. The line up featured is the one with Steve and Muff Winwood and Steve's performance in particular on lead vocals, guitar and organ is a joy to behold. The second part of the dvd is a "fly on the wall" type documentary shot in home movie fashion from 1967 and features the group after the departure of the Winwood brothers. The duration of this is around an hour. Although I found parts of this a little tedious there are some highlights including a live performance from The Marquee club where drummer Pete York proves himself to be a bit of a joker. Replacement lead singer Eddie Hardin who had a voice similar to Steve Winwood performs a song from the cult movie "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush" There are also brief appearances by Mick Jagger, Mitch Mitchell and Simon Dee during the course of this film which features Spencer Davis himself to the fore. Both main features are in decent quality black and white film although I have seen better quality including colour from this period of time. Audio quality is excellent as long as the viewer is not expecting surround sound! My main gripes are firstly that the live performance includes the original Finnish subtitles and secondly the background commentary on the documentary is in German without subtitles though to be fair neither of these points are major distractions. I was a little disappointed that there was no footage from the NME pollwinners concert in which I believe the group took part. However the live footage from Finland is excellent viewing and I can recommend this dvd to all Spencer Davis and Steve Winwood fans. There is a third section to the dvd but this is merely a sampler for other productions and is not relevant to the subject matter.

As an avid 60s music fan and collector of films featuring groups from that era, I eagerly awaited the release of this dvd. Although I was a little disappointed after watching it for the first time, upon reflection there is still a lot of great footage here.
