who cares about the acting
Review date: 2008-07-24 Rating: 8 out of 10
the king of the kickboxers is a good old action movie yes the actings really cack but it has me in stitches the warehouse drug deal at the start is a perfect example of this.the fights in the film are pretty good its in a very similar style to no retreat no surrender 2 so if you like that film youll probably enjoy this. one thing that did dissapoint me was the lack of fights involving keith cooke he is a quality fighter with great kicking ability but loren avedon makes up for this hes a good martial artist so overall a good film for cheap.also dont pay attention to the one star review from some van damme fan this films got better choreography than most van damme films and avedons definetly the better fighter he would deck van damme anyday.

THIS FILM IS WORST MARTIAL ARTS FILM EVER!!!Review date: 2008-07-07 Rating: 2 out of 10I can't beleive these people can say this about this film!!. It has to be one of the worst martial arts films I have ever seen. The acting is a joke and the fight scenes are really poor. Now if the director of this film wanted to create a modern day martial arts comedy classic he has achieved it .Everytime me and friends watch this film we just crack up with laughter. Trust me people this film is rubbish. If you want class martial arts films go buy Kickboxer and bloodsport.
Very emotional film !!! Review date: 2007-01-31 Rating: 10 out of 10Won't spoil what happens but this film has a very sad ending, bought it for my mate Nay, who seems to enjoy anything Billy Blanks does, he thought it had as good action, acting and martial arts moves as any film in the genre he has seen in the last 2 decades, being a UFC fighter he should know his moves.
Anyway it is definately worth the watch, you will feel as though you have spent the last 90 mins on a rollercoaster ride of emotion and intrigue but at the same time been bashed around in a fast paced car !!!EMOTIONAL BUT YET AGAIN ITS TOUGH ACTION!!!Review date: 2006-04-11 Rating: 10 out of 10its a film worth seeing that conatins originality in its acting and magnificent martial arts fighting. similar to the kickboxer but different in its storyline from the start but is based in thailand.the film is about revenge but jake requires harcore trainig to take on his brothers and masters murderer. So bad, it's just good!!Review date: 2005-04-11 Rating: 10 out of 10Now when you watch this film don't expect oscar-worthy plot and acting. This is is good, but it's good, heck great for a bit of kick-ass martial arts entertainment fodder, it has that 'watch over and over' tone too.
The fights are brilliant and it has that never-die look and feel of an eighties/nineties beat-em up.Buy it! cos it's just great fun!!!
