How can this be the end?! It's not fair. I love this show, I love this DVD. I'm not going to moan about the navigation and how many shows were on each disk, as frankly I don't care! Do people really buy DVDs based on how easily they can navigate between shows?! I didn't think so. It's a brilliant series, will bring tears of joy, laughter and sadness. An absolutely brilliant ending. I WANT MORE......

an attrocious end to what was once a great series

I loved sex and the city... I thought it depicted empowered women who did not rely on men in the same way as we are usually portrayed as doing so in the media... instead women treated men like women are treated by them and it left some insight into the female psyche when they are treated badly... so what happened in the final series???? it was a shambles!!! I once heard it said that sex in the city is about love so they ended it with all women finding love... I always considered that the show was about women not requiring a relationship validate themselves coupled with Carrie's true love being for 'the City' or at the very least that it showed that it is ok to be a single woman and middle aged, but instead the series ended on a 'cop-out'... I was glad Samantha found true love in the end but I thought it would have been far better if Carrie had realised that she didn't need either Big or the Russian in her life and returned to her true love in the form of New York... after all they both treated her badly.... bitterly disappointed, a poor effort

fabulous as ever!

i really dont understand the bad reviews on this season finale. the girls dont look too old at all, infact they look a lot better than they did in season 1. especially cynthia nixon (miranda) she looks stunning in season 6. the boxset design itself is stylish and looks good.

Carrie's fasion sense is still top notch! i love the stuff she wears, apart from a few things that could go in the bin, like the outfit in 'a womans right to shoes' the green and pink thing, with the leggings, was a bit awful. i love she doesnt care what people think, and wears what she wants. it was nice that all the girls found 'the one' in the end. although i would of still prefered Carrie to of settled down with Aidan! although i did like Big, i just thought Aidan was much better. I wasnt keen on Alex, but it was a nice touch to have him in the programme. And with Miranda also, i thought Robert was lovely, and he should of been 'the one' for her. Although Steve is lovely, and Brady's father. I just hope that Miranda didnt take Steve's surname or he would be Brady Brady (worse then Jerry Jerrod)! Also, im so glad Charlotte and Harry married. He was perfect for her! and Smith was fab for Samantha too. She had met her match in him! The breast cancer storyline was touching. i loved Samantha's wigs!!

I thought the acting was brilliant. u wouldnt tell that Kim Cattral and SJP had fallen out in real life. it's just a fab ending to a fab series that i will miss forever. but thanks to the boxsets, whenever i feel down, i get a hot drink, i pop in a dvd and watch my four friends take on New York City!

I can't have enough of it

I just can't have enough of season 6 of the best tv show ever. The girls are older, yes, but equally amazingly attractive as they were in the 1st series, smarter, wiser and the clothes and shoes are definitely getting better. No more athletic shorts with high heels, but class all the way. The men are getting better too. In a Woody Allen paradox, the show that celebrated New York over six years ends in what is for most people the most beautiful city of the world, Paris. Definitely with a New Yorkan flair. Samantha beats cancer and agrees to share a life with the most handsome man on TV the last ten years, Big finally understands that life without Carrie is going to be extremely boring, he rescues her and they live happily ever after, Miranda becomes a generous and romantic person by accepting her -losing the plot - mother in law to move in with her, and Charlotte is going to adopt a baby. Issues are more important as we - and the girls in the show - are growing older and it is perhaps the only series that Sex should be replaced by Love. Not the funniest, but definitely a grand finale. I got it as a present for my birthday from my brother, and being a 35 single female, was the best present ever. I must have watched it over 20 times, all the 6 DVDs since March. A definite MUST have. Worth every single penny
