i watched this film on tv yesterday and thought it was brilliant i did gymnastics for several years when i was younger and was in several competitions and know how hard it is to be the right weight and how much pressure is put upon you. this film really represented this and i thought it was inspiring too. i would definatly reccomend this! x

This is a really inspiring film if you are a dancer or play sport at a high level. Although the character obviously pushes herself to extremes, seeing her striving to be the best really inspires you to push yourself.
The issue of eating disorders is sensitively handled and never patronising. It is true to life and shows the difficulty of the parents to deal with a difficult situation. this is a film I have watched time and again.
