Synopsis
A beautiful Cuban exile flees to America to start a new life after her husband is imprisoned by Fidel Castro.
Good idea not properly thought out.

I bought this being a fan of Vincent D'Onofrio from Criminal Intent fame. Vincent as always was brilliant but I expected the film to centre on the relationship between Vincent and Greta but it doesn't, it centres on the relationship with Greta and Jimmy Smits. This does not mean that the film is 'rubbish', it's not, it's very well acted by all involved. There is however a feeling of the film not quite reaching its full potential and seems to centre on the political problems in Cuba not in the relationship of Vincent and Greta and the decisions that she has to make on the emergence of her husband (Smits).
All in all, a good film but I was waiting for a revelation in the film that sadly never occured.
I would say buy it but to be honest I doubt that I will watch it again
