Disappointing sequel
Review date: 2008-04-27 Rating: 4 out of 10
This could have been a worthy follow up to the now action classic Predator, but fails on many fronts. The acting, apart from Danny Glover who does a reasonable job of filling Arnie's shoes, is pretty awful at times and over the top. The dialogue is equally unconvincing. The film lacks the atmosphere and suspense of the original, despite the effective soundtrack of the talented Alan Silvestri. The second half of the film is certainly more exciting and watchable, but ultimately you are left feeling short changed. Had John McTiernan directed it again, and with better script writers and actors, this could have been a much better film.

super rubbishReview date: 2007-08-31 Rating: 2 out of 10proof that the predator series is a waste of time, this is a nasty and vile movie thats badly shot, badly put together and badly acted.this is nothing more than low end sludgeSILVESTRI AT HIS BEST!Review date: 2006-04-28 Rating: 10 out of 10The Predator films are almost definately Alan Silvestri's best scores. This excellent soundtrack perfectly suits the dark tone of the film, particularly with the use of eerie percussion instruments carefully assembled to achieve tension and suspense one minute before all of a sudden springing into the full orchestra (usually when someone gets killed!)
Many of Silvestri's original Predator themes can be heard here perfectly blended with a plethora of new music, giving it a tribal air in keeping with the Predator's honour system. One small downside is it's relatively short length (around 40mins)a lot of soundtracks today are over an hour. However in a way this makes it easier to sit down and listen to it as this is essential to appreciate all the little weird bits that you didn't really get a chance to hear in the film.
If you are a fan of the Predator films or film music in general, buy it (especially at such a good price!) you won't be disappointed. good filmReview date: 2005-09-24 Rating: 10 out of 10this was a good film, but the langage is a realy bad. (just like my lngaue) also the vilont's is very big, but hey, it is a predator film what do u expect.? it is not as good as the first predator, but it is still a classic film. but on the vilont bits the camra does not focas on it so it is not to bad.ExcellentReview date: 2005-09-22 Rating: 10 out of 10Sometimes people just expect too much and this film is a victim of such expectation. It does exactly what it says on the tin...a sci fi film based against a backdrop of urban decay. Nothing more nothing less. The effects are top draw, the action fast and story tight. All the actors play it up to the right level across a generally strong cast.
The story has dated a little now because so many films have done the same kind of thing since so if you're not a hardcore fan this is going to be wasted on you (pretty much Like Aliens 2 which is also a classic).
