Utter Rubbish

Without doubt the single worst programme I have ever seen. Do not buy this. It is obscure and forgotten for a reason. I bet the now well known actors in this don't include it on their CV. 0 STARS.
However, Jupiter Moon is a well acted and interesting serial. The young and relatively unknown cast play their parts well, and there is a certain addictive quality that keeps you coming back for more.
Although (like every other soap opera) the show deals with relationships, there is always the bonus of the unfolding space drama. Something is fast approaching Jupiter system, and within a few episodes the occupants of the spaceship ILEA find themselves cut off from the outside world. As the show progresses, they find themselves in an ever-worsening situation which leads to high drama and some edge-of-the-seat moments.
If you've never seen the show, I highly recommend you give it a try - you'll be pleasantly surprised!
To put it simply this is not very good. I bought this DVD hoping it would be something like a british babylon 5 but i was very disapointed. This is an awfull example of a badly acted soap disguised with a few scifi elements. It focuses on neither aspect very well.
The soap side is poorly acted with unbelivable characterisation and incredibly slow plot lines - in 11 episodes nothing seems to happen and even if it did you wouldnt care because the characters are so annoying.
It does not make good use of the scifi theme - never exploring particular elements properly leaving you feeling quite frustrated. The scifi theme seems to merely be a shoddy backdrop to the appallingly slow soap plot lines.
If you are looking for a space soap opera dont buy this - save your money and buy something that actually contains a plot.
