For all of you who like horror movies, this one is a must. It tells the story of a group of teenagers who set out to spend the night on a haunted house. When one of them turns into a demon/zombie and starts chasing the others, that's when the fun starts...
This one is one of the best b-movies I've ever seen and one of the scariest - of course I've first seen it when I was 15 years old and far more impressionable than today. The music score is excellent and adds a lot to the picture. The only flaw I see on this DVD is the lack of extras wich would add real value to it. I recommend it for the fans of movies like "The Evil Dead". ;-)

The Original Tale Of Hell House

Now many of you will have seen Demon House, this is in bargain bins everywhere. It tells the tale of Angela and the inhabitants of Hell House.
Well this is where it all started, and this blows Demon House out of the water.
Excessively crude and extremly violent, its a true gem which is years before its time.
Dont miss out on this title.

This was a very good movie, i watch it over and over sometimes on week ends, But when i first saw this movie i felt sad, Because all the teenagers started off good friends, then started killing each other one by one as the demon entered there bodies. The best parts of this movie are the sceens of Angela floating instead of walking through the house. And what about the part when suzanne slaped sal and he flew back and went through a window, broken glass flew every where. What made this movie so scary to me is the fact that they were traped in the house and coudn't exscape, and the demons would pop up out of no where which keeps you on edge through the entire movie, and the sound effects and the music toped it off, this is a must see.

I think this is 1 of the best horor films ever made its got everythink you need in a horror movie. The plot is a group of tennagers decide to have a party in an old house [hull house its called]when evil is unleashed and 1 by 1 they start to die i cant really explain it cause i havent seen this movie in a long time but if you get the chance watch it i promise you will not be dissapointed 5 stars yerrrrrrr

This movie had a sequel:
Night of the Demons 2.
The first one is more realistic.
But if you love b-grade horror, because that's what this is,
then you'll love these movies, because they are the best of the entire b-grade horror genre.

I gave this movie four stars because it doesn't quite, (at this time, I feel,) meet up to the level of the sequel.
The sequel had angry nuns, breasts that attack, decapitation, Marsha Brady, a very hot feisty young sexy brunette catholic school girl, Shirley Benedett, (I hope I got her last name right,) played by a gorgeous young Geri Betzler, (who was also in Girls just wanna have fun, and an episode of Married with Children, I do believe she had a small part in one of the Evil Dead movies as well.) Anyway, she's hot. It's loaded with hot young catholic school girls, and cheesy additions to the story, with holy water, oh lest I forget, it also has some pretty gnarly Demons.

But I must say, The Night-of-the-Demons movies attack b-grade horror head on, they're proud of what they are, and we love them for it.
