Dismal production

I was pleased with the contents of the DVD but what was APPALLING was a lack of the usual "play all episodes" option in the main menu, so for each episode, I got the usual copyright warning in 6 languages before the episode actually began. Luckily the DVD lets you skip over all the warnings, except the final warning in Turkish, which you have to sit through.
Whoever produced this DVD really messed up big time by not having a "play all" menu option. Hence the one star.

This is an excellent DVD featuring 4 great episodes - Homer's Night Out, The Mansion Family, Homer the Moe, and Sunday Cruddy Sunday.
In Homer's Night Out, the best episode on the disc, Bart orders a spy camera, and photos Homer dancing with a stripper at a stag party. In the mansion family, the Simpsons look after Mr Burns house, with hilarious consequences. In Homer the Moe, Homer looks after Moe's bar when Moe coes back to bartending school. When Moe comes back, Homer opens his own bar - in his garage. In Sunday Cruddy Sunday, Homer meets Wally Cogan, and arranges a trip to the superbowl. They end up in Superbowl jail, after buying fake tickets, before ending up in the winning locker room!! Also on the DVD, a special featurette of Krusty the Klown's greatest moments.
Overall, a good DVD with superb picture quality. Sunday Cruddy Sunday and Homer's Night Out in particular are excellent, but the DVD is slightly let down by the other two episodes. 8/10

WHAT HAVE THEY DONE THERE ARE STACKS OF UN VIDEOED EPISODE WHY CHOOSE THE MOST BOARING ONES YOU CAN FIND I FELT TO MY SELF GIVE US SOMETHING NEW HALF THE EPISODES ARE 10 YEARS OLD ALTHOUGH WE LOVE THE TIMELESS CLASSICS WE DO LIKE THE NEW AS WELL COME ON BOYS PULL YOUR PANTS UP AND SORT IT OUT.

Another DVD of four so-so episodes of the Simpsons. All these episodes can and have been seen many times on Sky One, although I'm guessing now that poor non-Sky owners watching BBC2 can no-longer see the show, Fox are going to capitalise by churning out more of these compilation DVDs. With one 'featurette' and four episodes, only the few without Sky will find shelling out the best part of £20 for episodes shown so often on TV. After the special feature-less and high-priced season box-sets of the Simpsons on DVD, this is another miss for anyone except the hard of core (or just plain desperate) Simpsons fans.
