This could have been a really interesting documentary showing a medical detective in action if they had spend some time choosing better close-ups, added a commentary and better editing, with some inspiration from the TV serie C.S.I. If you newer seen an autopsy before or is wondering how it really works, this might be interesting. I guess it gives a realistic view of how a standard autopsy actually is carried out. No glorification or cover up (except for the breast, genitals and the face). In one way I get the impression that Dr Noguchi is trying to show off his skills and efficiency for colleagues and students. Once the brain has been removed it's chopped up into small pieces in less than a minute. If you, like me, are a med student or in any other way are interested in anatomy, I suggest you instead look for "Anatomy for Beginners" with Gunther von Hagen. That is 2xDVD set and includes fascination dissections of both fresh and preserved bodies together with an excellent and pedagogic presentation.

Poor footage and indistinguishable mumbling

If you're a med student and looking for an educative autopsy video, where you can learn a little more about clinical anatomy, this is definitely NOT a good choice. The camera angles are badly chosen and it is hard to see any interesting. It is also very hard to hear what Dr Noguchi is mumbling, partly because if his accent and partly because he's talking to his colleagues and not to the viewer. There is no introduction, no narration or anything to give you some background, just a plain documentary.
