I agree with the previous reviewer. Crapston Villas was animated comedy at its best, but why not the whole series - or both series even? It's not like the episodes were so long. It would be tragic if this rag-bag of episodes was all of the series that made it to DVD.

Why not the whole series? dissapointingReview date: 2008-02-05 Rating: 4 out of 10This release is very dissapointing. The whole show was only ten minutes long when broadcast on channel 4 back in the 90s - this dvd only features 5 RANDOM episodes, in no chronological order - so you don't have a clue as to the storyline or what's going on. Where is the complete season 1 & 2? at best they are probably only an hour or so long each, but that is still better than 5 random 10 minute episodes from either series flung together in haste. It's about time manufacturing firms pulled their finger out and gave these shows the releases they deserve.Sick, horrible, and Flaming brilliant!Review date: 2006-01-03 Rating: 8 out of 10I saw this one Channel 4 a few years ago and my first reaction was that it was some weird advert. And then after finding it quite revolting (Fatso the Cat throwing up on the floor and then eating it!), I became somehow fascinated as to what it was. Then about 5 minutes later I find myself laughing myself into a fuzz.Without doubt 'Crapston Villas' is one of the funniest adult animated series ever to hit TV. The characters are so outrageous that you feel that they must be real. It takes the thing that people like about soap operas, and turns it upside down.
The characters range from a vicious vomiting cat, a kleptomaniac Granny, drug addict film writer wannabes, fabulous gay couples, big breasted actresses, horrible children that even gangsters are afraid of, and pimply horny adolescent morons with no clue what to do with women.
It's silly, disgusting, and very English. I'm only dinging the star rating that I've given this DVD because the sound is very quite. The picture is fine, but more attention to the sound detail would have been appreciated. However, if one turns the sound on your DVD player to full it all comes through and you can enjoy it.
Can't wait to buy Volume 2. Way to go Troma! Thanks for publishing this one. And shame on all UK publishers for not bothering.
