a dissapointment
Review date: 2007-02-21 Rating: 2 out of 10
Well, where do I start? A film with with good production values for what was obviously a low budget film. Surprisingly, nicely filmed and an interesting soundtrack. The performances by the lead characters were favourable, but the sheer slow pace of the production didn't help or compliment their performances at all. Many of the secondary charcters came across as being quite wooden and the scenes simply not believable. Honestly? A very dull film that never really gets going. It tries to get into the head of the lead character, but for me it failed miserably. Not a film for anybody with any insight to the subject matter I suspect and had more holes than a pair of fishnet stockings. Make your own mind up.

PoorReview date: 2006-07-09 Rating: 2 out of 10I would best describe this film as poor. The acting was not good the action was lacking. I only just managed to stay awake until the end, which wasn't worth watching.Domina-PoetReview date: 2004-09-24 Rating: 6 out of 10Not much in the way of 'Dominatrixing' as such but you do come to realise that a Career Dom just sees it as a job at the end of the day. I have seen mainstream films where the Doms are 'Lifestyle Dominatrix's' and they have a noticeably more passionate approach to the entire scene. This film gave me the impression that it was a low budget flick, with two main objectives; (1) To promote a young band and, (2) To get the audience 'thinking about life' via lots of poetry. To be fair I don't like poetry much but the prose in this film was written for modern times.Dark and Interesting....Review date: 2004-02-25 Rating: 8 out of 10I saw this movie a year ago at a private screening and although the story is interesting it is almost secondary to the atmosphere and imagery of the film. Grace Kosaka is a stand-out as the lead and there are some other good performances. Overall, very good for a low-budget pic.
Certainly worth a look.Dark and Interesting....Review date: 2004-02-25 Rating: 8 out of 10Saw this movie at a private screening last year. The story, although it held my attention, is almost secondary to the atmosphere and imagery. Grace Kosaka is a stand-out. Haven't seen her before but expect we'll be seeing her again. Some of the minor players are a bit weak but for a low-budget flick I was very impressed.
Certainly worth a watch.
