dont waste your time. the first film is incredible, the second (prequel) film the directors never even told jim and jeff that they were making it. nuff said... just buy the first one and watch the prequel on sky, or channel 5. the only funny bit in the prequel is when harry wipes brown all over the bathroom, even that is a rehash of the first films' funny moments.

The terrific box set of 'Dumb and Dumber' and 'Dumb and Dumberer' is truly worth it as in 'Dumb and Dumber' Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels star in it making all the mishaps, jokes and events hysterical.It is definitely one Jim Carreys funniest films ever. Harry and Lloyd live there lives as thick as two planks of wood! I have to admit it I cried with laughter frequently. In ' Dumb and Dumberer' the original cast are not used but it surprisingly turned out to be the funnier of the two. Harry and Lloyd are put into a special class with all the other idiots that attend the school. It leads to laughs, laughs and even more laughs. The fantastic plot of the two are extremly imaginative. The wacky hairdos, the great plot and the bladder explodding jokes are a must see.!!!!!

Dear all, me and my spouse love the original, it is funny, quick witted and extremely humourous. It is one of them 'no brainer' movies, i.e put the DVD in, laugh for 1 1/2 hrs, go to bed. The prequel - CRAP - Why bother??? None of the original cast could be bothered to appear, 'nuff said ??
