Series 2 of Gimme Gimme Gimme is my favourite, as the characters have been developed and there are many memorable lines.
There are eight episodes which feature a shock death, a psychopathic killer, swinging pensioners, and of course, plenty of gays and rude jokes. There is my favourite ever episode, Millennium, where Linda and Tom try to entertain themselves after being forced to see in New Year together. The charades scene is hillarious! Other highlights include the love rivalry between Linda and her dopey colleague in Sofa Man and the flatmates' attempts to seduce a young Spaniard in Stiff.
An improvement on the first series and miles better than the dire third. If you don't like inneundo and jokes about gays, blacks and other social minorities, you won't enjoy this. If it is your kind of humour, or if you already love Gimme Gimme Gimme, you just might like it!
kathy outperforms james in this series as she shows fantastic comic timing and with a fantstic script with classic lines and quotes both kathy and james with an excellent supporting cast really shows what british comedy is all about.
it is a show for the people of today, yesterday and tommorrow a classic to watch when you are feeling down or with a group of friends, and i can assure you, you will walk away talking like linda(a navvy in drag).
it is a must
happy watching
