Just brilliant. i never tire of watching this hilarious show. Series 2 is better than the rest but they are all fabulous.

It's toilet humour at it's very best! James Dreyfus is fabulous as Tom and i just fell completely in love with him!!

Kathy Burke is just too good as the vulgar Linda LaHughes. I could rant about this and quote lines all day. I love Jez and Suze, they are just hilarious and Beryl is brilliant!

I wish it had gone on longer than 3 series but all good things must come to an end! i just love these 3 so much!

It will offend a lot of people but if u dont like it then u have a sheltered life and a massive lack of humour and fun!!

Part Two - Return of Linda and Tom
Review date: 2006-05-12 Rating: 10 out of 10

The best of the three and thats saying something. One of the few sitcoms that can be watched over and over again. Take off your adult head, think purile and enjoy.

Some excellent cameos from a host of faces that you'll recognise - Burke and Deryfuss are obviously having fun delivery some of the bitchiest and funniest lines in a sitcom.

An absolute laughter-fest that never lets up in crudity, hilarity and non-PCness. Love it, love it, love it!!!!

Gimme Gimme Gimme is the sit com starring Richard Dreyfus as an unhappily single gay (surely not!) man who shares a flat with Cathy Burke playing a man eating slapper who, whilst she considers herself gourgeous, is as rough as a badger's backside. Most of the action is set in the flat, with other characters who live in the house - a retired prostitute, and the young, constantly shagging, couple that live next door - in and out all the time. Most of the gags are sexual, and this won't be to everyone's taste, but if you like humour of the sort Cathy Burke is famous for in 'Kevin & Perry', you can't go wrong with this. Go and get it, but don't let your grannie watch it with you. Five stars.

This is without a doubt the funniest of the 3 series.
Brilliantly funny, completely UN-politically correct and filthy.
One of the best and underated comedies of the last 5 years.
7 episodes including the Millenium special (which starts with a very funny dream party sequence with a cameo by Melinda Messenger!).
The only criticism - no extras! I would love to have seen out-takes from this series (there are no extras on any of the DVD's).

Absolutely Magnificent!

The second and best series of Gimme Gimme Gimme should rank among TV's hall of great comedy moments. Burke and Dreyfuss are never better than they are here, delivering all of the jokes with perfect chemistry and timing.

I'm delighted to hear that this DVD also includes the special episode, 'Millennium'. This is one of the series' funniest, and it basically consists of Linda and Tom spending a New Years Eve alone in the flat. But Burke and Dreyfuss are so fantastic and their characters so well defined that it works brilliantly. The series proper gets going with 'Teacher's Pet', an hysterical episode featuring Elaine Lordan's return as Linda's sister, Sugar. Watch out for some side-splitting scenes with Linda and a doll. 'Stiff' is a great episode involving Linda and Tom trying to make sense of a strange occurrence. 'Prison Visitor' features Phil Daniels in a brilliant guest role as an ex-con. 'Dirty Thirty' is simply fantastic, and Tom's parents are an absolute riot. 'Glad To Be Gay?' is, in my humble opinion, the best ever episode of the series. Moya Brady guests stars in this masterpiece episode of British comedy. 'Sofa Man' is not quite up to the standards of the other episodes but is still hysterical, featuring possibly James Dreyfuss' best performance as Tom.

It's hard to fault this series. Buy it, keep it, treasure it forever. You'll laugh so much it'll hurt!
