Synopsis
This is the 2002 made for UK TV version of the classic tale of DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE, the classic story of man's dual existence as an entity of both good and evil. As the old story goes, Dr. Jekyll has the noblest intentions with his scientific study and, like many scientists, uses himself as a subject for chemical conconctions. Something goes horribly wrong in his laboratory and his experimentation has the effect of turning him into a rogue, an evil-doer and a brute. There have been many versions of this film through the years, but with John Hannah as the sympathetic and pitiable lead, this tale is much more complex and compelling than most versions of this horror classic.
