I loved the story, the music was wonderfull and of course Lindsay Wagner's great performance. James Brolin and Victoria Tennant were very good.

I bought this DVD because I watched the serial on tv when I was a kid and I wanted to see it again. Unfortunatley, I was very much disappointed. Especially with Lindsay Wagner who was completley wrong for the part. The script was also awful, it had nothing to do with the book which is a really good love book - not a work of art, but quite nice if you have nothing to do and want to be entertainted for a few hours. The only thing I liked was Victoria Tennant who was a bit too old for the part, especially at the beggining, but who gave, compared with the others - Oscar winning performance.
