Amazon.co.uk Review

Chosen by fans, the five Power Rangers episodes on this disc are a cross-section of major events from the long-running series. "White Light Parts 1 & 2," from season two, finds Lord Zedd unleashing the very strange Scarlet Sentinel, and the Rangers in nervous anticipation of their new leader, the unidentified White Ranger. "Countdown to Destruction Parts 1 & 2" would probably impress Roger Corman with its budget-conscious but slick mix of stock footage, computer effects, and rapid cutting in the story of the Rangers' near-defeat battling an invasion of Earth. Another nostalgic favorite, "Wild Force: Forever Red," involves an exciting reunion of past and present Red Rangers. Wild, crazy, engrossing stuff, though special features would have been nice. --Tom Keogh, Amazon.com

This DVD is okay, but Saban or whoever was in charge could have made it a lot better. There are Mighty Morphin episode (White Light), In space (Countdown to destruction) Lost Galaxy (To the Tenth Power) Lightspeed Rescue (Trakeenas Revenge) and Wild Force (Forever Red).
The questions I have to ask are why are there no episodes involving fan favourite the Green Ranger ? Tommy is in it as White Ranger (White Light) and Zeo Ranger V (Forever Red), but he was always best as Green Ranger. They could have edited Green With Evil and put it on in a movie format.

Two, Where are the episodes from Zeo, Turbo and Time Force. Personally, I would have like to have seen A Golden Homecoming (Jason's return as Gold Ranger) from the Zeo series; Passing The Torch (Where Tommy, Adam, Kat and Tanya passed their respective Turbo powers to TJ, Carlos, Cassie and Ashley. I would also have like to have seen The End Of Time which I though was a great finale to the Time Force series. Saban had a gem in this one which, if given a longer running time, could have recaptured the magic of the old Mighty Morphin' series.
This is how I rate the episodes.
White Light ****
Countdown to Destruction ****
To the Tenth Power ***
Trakeenas Revenge **
Forever Red (Where was Rocky?) *****
If you are a fan, buy this. It is good for a collection.

Its Taken Ten Years But They Made It!!!!!!!!

These are the best, most fantastic episodes of Power Rangers ever made. After tonnes of voting by the fans the episodes have been decided as what I think the be THE BEST!!.
First of all we have White Light Prt 1 & 2. This was a great episode basically because it was something new to the series; a set of monsters that couldnt be defeated; a great storyline and a recurring ranger. Nobody can argue Tommy was the greatest ranger and I think that his entrance, suit and zord of the time was the best. (Im basically saying it was good)

Secondly comes, Countdown To Destruction Pt 1 & 2(in space). THE GREATEST EPISODE OF POWER RANGERS EVER 1000000000% DEFINITE. I cant find any faults apart from the fact that after me watching 100 times, it is slightly predictable. But it is still great. This rounds of 6 seasons of Power Rangers with the best cast, (but not best zords) and best baddies. It was a fantastic series. Personally, every episode from the Pyscho Rangers on was great but Countdown just made it great!!!!!!

Next up, To The Tenth Power (Lost Galaxy), the episodes either side of this were better in my opinion, but still a good one. The series started slowly but it was an original idea and there were a lot of zords. This episode really made me change my mind and made it a better series. Not the best, but still worth it.

Fourth in line is Trakeena's Revenge Pt 1 & 2 (Lightspeed Rescue). This was a team up of LG & LSR and was pretty good. I liked how for once it wanst two teams working together but actually combined powers i.e. Omega Megazord with Orion Armour. The idea and plot is good and lives up to what they wanted it to be. I liked it and really picked up what I found to be my least favourite series.

Finally is Forever Red (Wild Force). Can I just say that In Space had the best plots but the award to best zords, weapons, monsters, base, rangers, armour......... This was a great episode and it brought back all the best rangers. I loved Serpentera and I was glad to see it come back. Also I really liked Beetleborgs and it was good to see them return but not as beetleborgs. This was one of the best Wild Force Episodes but it was such a great series i cant pick one.

So there it is, 8 great episodes, but there were some I thought were good and deserved a mention e.g. Green With Evil, Zen Aku thingy, Alien Rangers stuff and Changing Of The Zords etc.

My opinion is buy it, buy it, buy it. You wont be disappointed (also free poster)

10 years on still going strong!!
