New Year's Eve (or Hogmany as its known in Scotland) is not the same without watching 'Scotch and Wry'. It is one of the things I miss through living in England. But that was until I bought this tape and I never tire of watching it. The jokes may be old but its still a laugh a minute. My favourite sketches are 'Holiday in Saltcoats', 'The Corner Shop', and of course any Video would not be complete without the Reverence IM Jolly and WE Free Ministers. If you are a Scot and you are homesick, buy this and you will feel tons better.

This is the third video in the series from one of Scotlands best ever comedy shows. Scotch and Wry was played on New Years Eve ebery year for well over a decade, so the writers could take their time and write quality skatches, and we see this here. Although not as strong as it's two predecessors, this is a great video. From Supercop giving Batman a ticket, to I M Jolly's Last call, this is quality comedy from start to finish except for some lower quality sketches, but the rest are so goo, you wont notice. Unlike many other sketch shows, this has doesn't rely on sexual jokes, or playing on peoples insecurities. It is just wholesome hilarious comedy at it best. You will not be dissapointed by thias video.
